What brings you joy?
3 years ago, If you asked me this question I would have given you a blank stare. The sad truth is that 3 years ago, I was feeling pretty depressed because, for some reason, I thought that if I sacrificed my joy for my family that somehow I would be rewarded in the end. Now I know the truth, I can have my joy and spread it around like wild fire. If you are missing your joy and want to find it, check out my quick video on to learn 5 Steps to Finding and Living Your Joy. Once you make joy a priority, you are able to allow your dream life to manifest for you and your family.
Get absolutely clear on what you want for your life.
Before anything you do in life, you must get clear on the desired outcome. I encourage you to get clear on what your dream life looks like. Take all the hardships, pain and frustration from the past and use it as a tool to write your new story. The story that jumps you out of bed in the morning and feels so good that you can’t help but spread it to any and everyone who comes into contact with you.
Make a list of all the things that bring you joy!
This list can consist of things from your past, things that you enjoy now but don’t make enough time for and things that you have wanted to try and but have been putting off for one reason or another.
Pick your top 4 or 5 items from the list that get you most excited.
Picking the things that most excite you makes it more likely for you to take your first steps toward joy. Once you start getting a taste of how great it feels, you will make it a habit…..and the rest is history.
Schedule Your Joy
All important things must be scheduled. Your joy is important to make a non-negotiable appointment with yourself AT LEAST once a week to do what feels good for you and your soul.
Go Live Your Joy!
In life, we must first get inspired and then we must act based on that inspiration and our intuitive nudges. You are worthy of joy right now. You don’t have to be anyone or anything more or less than what you are now. You are worthy of waking up every morning, feeling awesome and filling your cup the same way that you fill up everyone else’s.
YOU ARE ENOUGH!
